Animal's Story/Bio
This is Shylo (nee. Louise), about 12 years ago we met a 7 month old dog that stole our hearts. Shylo had been through a lot before she came home with us. Originally coming from Timmins, ON, she had been transferred to LCHS.... where she was returned twice. Sometime between when she was born and coming to LCHS she was very likely abused, and hit by a car. Men in caps, water, cars, newspaper, you name it, Shylo was terrified. It took years, and lots of patience, but Shylo persevered and was able to move on. Now, Shylo is almost completely phobia free. Shylo has been the most challenging dog that we have had, but also the most loving.

Why Vote?
Shylo's ability to overcome everything that she had been through has been inspirational to me, getting me through some rough times. She loves her family deeply and is happiest when all of her people are together. This old lady turns 13 in September, regardless of her not having a young body anymore, I think she believes that her "condition" is just something else she can over come. Shylo makes some bad decisions thinking she can still do everything she used to. It is now our job to show this pup that it is okay to relax. Vote for Shylo because she is a deserving dog who could teach us a few things about never giving up.
