Cat & Everything Else
Animal's Age4 years
Animal's Story/BioMoochie was a feral kitty that lived on my porch for 3 years. His eye was injured and I realized he needed help. I brought him to LCHS hoping they could help him and perhaps find him a home with a patient family since he was still rather viscous. I already had two senior cats and worried that his presence would be stressful.
I couldn't stop worrying about him and visited him every day.
LCHS removed his eye, and while he was recovering I decided that he was coming home with me. I adopted him.
Moochie and I thank you for helping him and transforming him into a little gentleman with kindness and gentleness he was shown while he was there with you.
Why Vote?Moochie was abandoned. He was thrown away like trash. He happened to end up on the porch of someone that saw his value and cared about his well being.
When people drop off cats they don't want anymore, thinking they will be fine, we want those people to know that is never the case. His lost eye is a testament to that.
I would very much like Moochie to be the postercat against animal abandonment, and a reminder that with love and patience a cat that initially might not be considered adoptable can become a lovely calm, sweet, companion.
