This is sweet Mira. She came to live with me as a foster at the end of August. It was apparent that she had a lot of pre-existing injuries…including hip dysplasia, a partially torn patellar ligament, anaplasmosis, a bacterial infection on her belly, as well as a double ear infection. Lots happened to this angel prior to coming to Wisconsin…

Due to her injuries, the first weeks with me Mira was cautious and didn’t show much personality. She was very calm and getting to know my other dog and two cats.

Then we went for a short walk, like we do every day, staying on the grass so it’s easier on her joints, ending on the play yard by my apartment, which has soft ground and usually has sun. This was the first time Mira showed off her beautiful personality!! She was playful and super cute!! Love this girl!!
