About Little Charlottes Rescue, Inc.
Established in 2022
Having been lifelong animal lovers, Cheri, and her husband, Brian, recently set off on a new adventure to open their own nonprofit dog rescue. In 2022, Little Charlotte’s Rescue, Inc.* was born.
After applying for and being granted their 501©3 non-profit charity status in early 2022, the rescue achieved their goal to start transporting dogs from high-kill situations in Texas to Wisconsin in Spring of 2022.
In July of 2022, Little Charlotte's Rescue reached out to the Veteran Community. Knowing that many combat veterans are in need of companion animals, Little Charlotte's began waiving adoption fees for combat veterans with an accepted adoption application and reference check. This way, we are helping both homeless dogs AND Veterans. These matches are truly made in Heaven.
Of course, every potential adopter is considered under a strict application process before the dogs leave for forever homes! This ensures that dogs will be matched with the right families, and vice versa! We plan to continue doing good in this world, and we'd love for you to join that journey.
With your support, and with the monetary donations, kennels & supplies that you have donated to date, we have helped get a 100+ pups vetted and permanently cared for properly by loving families. Each donation you make will immediately be directed towards supporting and rescuing, vetting, and rehoming countless dogs in need going forward.
Cheri and Brian have a passion for animal rescue that is unmatched. Through your generosity & support, community programs, and connections with local agencies, they can achieve their goal to reduce overpopulation and increase education on behalf of those that don't have a voice to care for themselves.
