This is Mira. I took her in as a foster last year and knew almost immediately she would be a foster fail. Her original name was Mirella but I didn’t know that and just called her Mira. She could barely walk when I got her and doctors were concerned with how many possible surgeries she might need. Brought meds and conservative management, she has made an amazing recovery…now I say her name fits perfectly as it’s short for Miracle.
