Your Dog's Story or Bio
I adopted Buddy at 2 years old and was his 4th home. I had always wanted a dachshund as it’s the breed we had growing up. Buddy had IVDD and had to have back surgery. You would have never known it, He was the strongest and most determined little man. Sadly I lost Buddy on 12/18/2024. I miss him everyday. I’m grateful I was there on his last day and final moments as it came out of nowhere. Buddy inspired me to adopt senior dogs from now on. Caring for him in his later years was such a blessing and a humbling experience. I recently adopted a 13 year old chiweenie named Buckingham from a shelter 5 hours away who has brought so much joy back into my home. The grief and love I have for Buddy is poured into sweet Buckingham, every day.
