Our doggie loneliness led us to make the 20 hour round trip to adopt our beautiful little chocolate pom girl from LWDR in Nov 2022. Once she relaxed a little bit we saw her personality come out as she stormed around the yard like a bolt of lightening. Thereby earning her new name:Stormi. She has brought tremendous joy to our lives by demanding snuggles and cuddles. She has been progressively coming out of her shell more and more, but we felt like she would really like having a canine friend. So when we learned about Rivit retiring from the show ring we drove to the Pacific Northwest to adopt him in August 2023. He is the nephew of our first pom and of my mom's 2 poms. Stormi and Rivit have become an inseparable team. When Stormi gets scared she runs to Rivit's side for comfort and protection. And they now chase each other around the house and go on yard exploring adventures together. Stormi is continuing to become more relaxed and is getting more and more comfortable with her Mom and Dad and her brother, Rivit, all the time.
