Sammy’s Gotchya day is 10/25/2025. He had been picked up in Oklahoma as a stray in August of 2025. He made his way north with about 25-30 other friends ready to start a new and amazing life full of love, belly rubs and adventures.
Sammy loves his new brother Marty who is also dachshund and his new family, who can’t imagine a life without him.
Sammy’s hobbies include chasing rabbits and squirrels, cozy naps and playing with his brother. He just recently became VP of the neighborhood watch group, where he watches out his front window for any suspicious shenanigans going on such as people walking, cars, or suspicious looking birds.

Sammy is loved. 💙
