I found Lucy on the streets of West Denver while delivering meals on Wheels in 2016.
Fortunately, I was able to locate her owner through a craigslist posting. He agreed that since this was the 4th time that she had escaped from the shed he locked her in while he was gone, I could purchase her from him. She is the best little pup ever!
I recently adopted another rescue who I named Shirley so I had to add Laverne on to Lucy's name. Now I call them Laverne and Shirley 🤣.
They truly are best friends!
