Joey is our 10 yr old black kitty that we adopted from LHS when he was just 8 wks old. His entire litter was at LHS, so it was hard to choose just one!
Several years later we adopted Otis (white poodle mix) from Every Creature Counts in Ft. Lupton. He was 10 mos old and had been rescued from a puppy mill. He's the most resilient pup ever! He had spent his entire life in a cage, and warmed up to our family of four immediately! Maddie (black & white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mix) joined our family last year. The three of them are the best of friends and are the most compassionate animals we have ever known.
