Gizmo is a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua that we rescued last summer. I was going to pick up my daughter from a friends when I turned the corner and saw this poor little dog wobbling down the road. Of course I pulled over to see if I could get him in my van. I didn't want him to get hit by a car. He was scared and started walking away from me. So I got followed him. Eventually he went to the side of the road and collapsed. I walked up to him and scooped him up. From there we went to the vet to see if he as micro chipped. Of course he wasn’t. I took him to my mother’s house for the night. We started posting his pictures online trying to find his owners. In the meantime we took him to the vet because he had worms, his eyes were sun burned, he had blisters on his paws and he had a skin infection. We continued to look for his owners to no avail. 10 months later, Gizmo is part of our family. He is full of energy and keeps us on our toes, but we are lucky to have him!
