Einstein is a very social, talkative and loving cat who was rescued from our subdivision. He followed me home from a walk in the subdivision one day and we gave him shelter and hoped to find his family. Well, long story short, we became his family and he ours.

He enjoys telling you all about his day if you ask him. His favorite response: "Meow!" He is clicker trained and a few of his commands include: twirl, high-five, shake, sit and give kisses. His favorite toy and game are little plastic suction cups. You throw the suction cup and he runs after it, fetches it and most of the time brings it back. He enjoys watching "bird theater" from either his cat skyscraper or perch. His enjoys going for a walk wearing his harness twice a day. At bedtime he likes to tuck into his cat bed with his stuffed animal Freddy.

He is usually waiting behind the entrance door of our home, ready to greet us when we arrive home after having been gone for a day at work, an errand or just having been outdoors a few minutes. As soon as we're in the house, he lays down, stretches out and wants a belly rub.

He creates much conversation in our neighborhood when people realize it is a cat walking on a leash and not a little dog. Even one of the local police officers stopped to take a closer look, chat for a bit and left with a huge smile on his face.

He's very thankful to Bill and Sandy for the help they provided in the initial weeks while we fostered Einstein, tried to locate his family, and later in the adoption process and the transfer of ownership with the microchip company.
