Pet's Story or Bio
Clover was adopted a few months after the loss of our Lab/Terrier mix Addie. She died of cancer. My Husband said he didn't want another dog; that he couldn't go through that again. But two months later, he decided he was ready to rescue another dog.

We ventured out to New Orleans to the SPCA. We walked almost the entire length of the facility...then we saw her. She was the same color and size as our Addie. Many of the animals were barking and jumping around....but she was calmly "people watching" from her window. We asked to meet her. She was very shy...her tail was always between her legs, and she cowered when you would try to pet her. We were in love.

A few days after we brought her home, she was an entirely different dog. She was full of energy, and her tail was always wagging. She also surprised us by barking !! Something the SPCA said she never did before !! We get an overabundance of love from her...especially when we get home from work :)

She enjoys taking long naps with her Daddy, and running around the back yard with her Mom when she gets home from work. Clover is very organized ! She has a collection of squeaky toys that she keeps in one area of the house (on a rug by the back door). Her favorite one is a Halloween ghost Mom named "Nilla Puff".
