Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Lily eight years ago after I fell in love with her while handling her at an offsite event! She had come in to the shelter as a twenty-two pound stray; and with "poodely" fur so matted, she had dreadlocks. After she was shaved she looked like a giant Westie, but a DNA test proved she was part poodle, part English Springer spaniel! After heartworm treatment, and LASPCA's Obedience and "Mind Your Manners" classes, the jumpy, wiggly, totally housetrained bundle of fur was the model canine and our precious love!
