Pet's Story or Bio
Gilda or "Gilly" (formerly Golda), was first rescued by the LA-SPCA about two years ago. She appeared to have had puppies recently, was very distrustful of other dogs, and defensive towards people who were nervous around her.

Finding the shelter environment to be extremely stressful, she was selected to be fostered by the New Orleans Bulldog Rescue, which set up a profile for her on Petfinder. It was there that her human first spied the Bullmastiff of her dreams, with her sweet brown eyes, immense pink tongue, and diminuitive 90 lb frame.

Gilly now enjoys taking long walks to Palmer Park and even longer naps after. She has made great improvement with her behavior issues on walks and even has a couple of doggy friends. Her main interests are treats, belly rubs, and investigating dog noises on TV, in that order.
