A little about me...
Sparky came to us via Lolin as an 11# 7 week old in a litter of 9 puppies from Tennessee. He had a broken leg and spent his first 4 weeks in a splint which had to be changed weekly due to his growth as a puppy. After a couple weeks without the splint, it was determined the break had healed somewhat incorrectly. He had developed a luxated kneecap in addition to the twisted tibia. At 13 weeks he underwent orthopedic surgery to correct. Sparky is now going to puppy kindergarten to learn basic manners. It’s a little harder for him due to loss of muscle mass in his leg making “sit” and “down” not as easy as it would be for a normally developed puppy leg. He has turned out to be a very happy puppy and hasn’t let his health issues affect his friendly personality. His next hurdle is to regrow the muscle strength so he can walk without a limp and enjoy the rest of his puppyhood. He loves his Lolin sisters Flower & Dixie.
