About Us

Sac Cultural Hub envisions a community that celebrates the joy of having and raising healthy brown babies in the African American community. Babies, babies, babies. There is a place in all of us that tingles when we see a baby. It ignites a natural sense of meaning, a connection to life, relationships with others, and a sense of ourselves. We feel it most when they're sleeping, playing, and sharing their love with a warm hug. Babies open up our minds, hearts, and senses. A baby so small, innocent, fragile, and full of new life.

For some, that tingle gets quickly upstaged by questions, unknowns', criticisms, fears, and the practical challenges of everyday living. That feeling can be pushed aside, battered, and beaten down into a place deep within us but every now and then something triggers it and reminds us it's still there. For others, it's a daily source of pure joy, purpose, and hope. Let's tap into that place and give that tingle a louder, more vibrant voice among all of us.

The Loving Brown Babies (LBB) Social Media campaign is primarily focused on the pleasures of motherhood and families in celebration of raising African American children. The LBB campaign has been designed to set the stage to illuminate positive pregnancy, care for babies, and healthy relationships between babies and parents. Brown babies are beautiful and deserve the best from us. That wisdom inhabits our tingle and makes us do things that give life, bare challenges, and create better worlds for our babies and ourselves. LBB is a campaign designed to connect mothers, fathers, grandparents, step-parents, extended families and communities with this truth. To re-join us with life affirming stories that have been quieted by stress and instead indulge in celebrating brown babies, motherhood, fatherhood and families.

The LBB campaign is produced and managed by the Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation. To learn more about the LBB Campaign contact us:
