A little about me...
This entry is to honor my Buddy Ray (left) and Gretta Mae (center) who both passed May/March 2020. Buddy was once blind and found himself at a pound in Ohio. He was rescued by a shelter I volunteered with, they had a fundraiser for him and got him the surgery he needed to see again. He joined my family at the ripe young age of 10 and we shared many laughs. Gretta Mae was a puppy mill rescue. I had no intention of adopting a doxie when she stole my heart, my soul and became my life. We shared many adventures together and had some very memorable road trips. She was quite the traveler and an expert at room service and the snacks on Southwest Airlines. Jax Pirelli (right) is our blind, one eye, IVDD survivor senior. He found himself at the pound due to hard times. On his way to an eye specialist, shelter friends got a flat tire, called me to their rescue and we have not let Jax out of our sight since. A 2nd flat tire happened on the way to pick him up from his eye surgery. Hence, Pirelli. LOL
