I brought Abby home from a rescue group when she was 8 weeks old to be a companion to my aging female German Shepherd. She slept in my arms every night on the couch while I watched tv until she grew too big to hold. She started swimming in the pool at 6 months old and it became harder by the day to try & keep her out of the water. Little by little she became the leader of the pack. She became even closer to me when my other dog passed away when Abby was 4 1/2 yrs old. Since then, she is the owner of my house & my bed. She has been a blessing to me from the very beginning. She will always be in my heart & my Abby....
