Bear is a black lab mix rescue dog we adopted 2.5 years ago when he was 11 weeks old. He is a black lab mix with shorter ears and a curly tail, which is always curled high above his back. He was found along with his black as night brother in a field with a horse guarding them in NC. The horse did not want to let these cuties go! Being a rider, when I read his story on the rescue's website, I had to have him! He was already familiar with horses! Without the kindness of our rescue transporting him to PA, we never would have found him! He's an amazing dog who is very smart and loves the outdoors. We take him for hikes, swims, car rides, and on road trips. Life before Bear was boring and mundane and now I can't imagine life without him.
