Sparky was adopted 5 years ago from Lucky Labs. He was one of the Christmas puppies from 2010. He was on the Lucky Labs site and his name at the time was Blitzen. My husband thought that name was to Christmasy and wanted to call him Lighting because Blitzen means lighting. I said dogs have a way of growing into their names why not call him instead Sparky. That is how he got his name.
