Pet's Story or Bio
Salsa was part of LWH originally known as “Mama Ophelia” about six years ago. She was found pregnant on the streets of Waco, Texas before being taken to the local animal shelter where the rescue stepped in. She gave birth to three pups(the Shakespeare pups)who were also adopted out through LWH. She now resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her parents, her two small humans and her dog and cat friends. Since she is a corgi mix her hobbies include herding our two larger dogs in and out the door and around the house. She also loves car rides and endless pets. Salsa spends much of her time lounging around with the cats. She seems to sometimes forget that she in fact is NOT actually a cat because she loves them so much and has even adopted some of their cat like mannerisms. She is very bold and brave except when it comes to the gravity water dispenser…those bubbles sure are scary! Salsa does not know a stranger and loves every new person that she meets.
