Pet's Story or Bio
Jane was adopted on July 5, 2018, from a local humane society at 5 years of age (give or take a few years). She was a little playful in the shelter, but when she was brought home it was clear she wasn't sure how to be a dog. She was likely an outdoor dog used for breeding, given very little human affection. She was apathetic towards people.

Over the next 5 years her personality blossomed. Jane absolutely adores every person she encounters. She sprints around like a puppy in pursuit of her favorite toy (a little rubber hippo!), and she LOVES belly rubs. With her expressive eyes and ears, she requests to be tucked in when she's a little too chilly, and at bedtime, after getting her joint supplements (her FAVORITE treats), she lays her head on her little pillow and gets tucked in by her favorite people.

Jane has become a loving, happy, affectionate pup. And though sometimes we wish her friend hadn't taught her to bark at every little sound outside, we're grateful that she does, as it means she is comfortable in her home. She's finally learned how to be a dog.
