I love this picture of two of our rescue babies, taken at just the right moment as they looked at each other. Sam was found at a local cemetery as a puppy - starving, cold, covered in fleas & suffering from demodex mange. Elphie, thin & hungry, was apparently abandoned near the house of a neighbor who did not want her & threatened to "drop her off at Wal-mart." Now both of them are healthy, happy, loved & part of our family.
