Pet's Story or Bio
Reese was adopted from Maine Coon Rescue. She came from New Jersey in 2008 at 1 year old. My husband and I had been looking for a Maine Coon when he came across this rescue. He filed all the adoption forms necessary and before we knew it we were on our way to pick her up in Cumberland, MD. Later that year, my husband was diagnosed with cancer and past away the following year in 2009.
Reese, now 11 years old, has always been there by my side. Although she can have the Maine Coon attitude at times, she is a smart kitty and sensed my mourning. She was so affection during these times. Any time that she heard me cry she came to my side to comfort me by rubbing my face and laying by my side. We will always have a special bond. ❤️
