Pet's Story or Bio
Roxanne came to live with us from Maine Coon Rescue. She was 8 years old – she’s now close to 10. She is tri-colored – red, brown and black with a white toe. She loves to spend her day lounging around. Her favorite sleeping position is on her back with her legs spread and her long belly fur all over the place. That’s when I can tell she is in a deep relaxing sleep. She loves to be touched. If she doesn’t get enough, she’ll let you know by grabbing your hand to bring it back. She plays with my cat Parker. It’s a sight to see these two large cats – they’re both 15 lbs – running after each other thru the house. Their relationship is truly special as they were brought together late in life - both at the age of 8 years - yet they have bonded. They sleep side by side touching, sniff each other’s nose as a greeting, and Parker will wash her face which Roxanne seems to enjoy.
