Pet's Story or Bio
After I recovered from the unexpected loss of Freddy, my first MCR adoption, I told MCR I wanted a cat that looked like he had just walked out of the wild. And then, out walked Simon into my life with a stern “I mean business” expression. Although he has an ever-gruff look…. don’t ask him to say “cheese” for the camera... he has a sweet soul and gentle personality. He came from a household that suppressed his personality but in my quiet home, I found that he bloomed and blossomed more every day. He loves the Christmas tree and steals a feather from the branches every day, as did Freddy. Mommy lets him play with it awhile but then retrieves it, smooths it out and puts it back…. all to be repeated the next day, and the next and the next. One of his favorite pastimes is chasing the auto lights that shine in…of course, that is a never-ending challenge as the elusive light will never be caught. One source of joy for him ended in the demise of a lone firefly that ventured in. He didn’t quit chasing it until…yes, he got it!
