River arrived at our house with @StaceEvans in February 2022. As soon as she got out of the car, my dad took her by the leash, started showing her around the house and yard. Now, they are inseperable - she is his shadow and has to be where he is, always! Dad is living with liver cancer; we have lost 3 family members (my 3 grandparents), along with our family furbaby Jack (13 yo) within a 6 month period. River has brought life back into our house. She is the sweetest, loveable, playful, smartest and friendliess puppy we have ever had. Our neighbors 2 yo lab, Addie, and her are BFF Soul Sisters. Originally we thought we would need another dog, but these two are so close - they have sleepovers, eat meals, & play together - sometimes 3 times a day! Rivers adoption has made our family complete!
