I adopted Scarlet on October 1, 2010. Amy Buist was our amazing adoption coordinator ❤️ My sister and I already had a tripod back home and when I moved to Savannah to go to grad school I found myself very lonely. I feel unbelievably blessed that Scarlet picked me to be her person. She is my heart and soul. We lost her “cousin” Harley Grace in January, two months shy of her 15th birthday and it was definitely an adjustment for us all. Scarlet is just like her momma, we are both very neurotic, but I wouldn’t have made it through that without her. She may be getting up in years but she still has her spunk 🥰
