Kasper was rescued from life on a chain in South Carolina. He was severely underweight and heartworm-positive when he arrived at his forever home in the mountains of Virginia in March of 2021.

Now Kasper is a thriving, dearly loved family member, and incredibly handsome to boot. He loves running like the wind in his large, fenced yard; playing tunes on his squeaky chew toys; and hanging out with his doggy brother, Linus, and their three cat pals. He also is a natural comedian who makes his family laugh every day.

Embark DNA testing revealed that Kasper is 78% German Shepherd Dog, 13% Australian Cattle Dog, and 9% "super mutt."
