Benny came to us after MAMAS posted his pic and asked for a foster to let him decompress. A distinguished older gentleman, he had been dropped off at a vet’s office and left behind for no good reason but age. A few days into fostering, we knew we would fail in the best possible way and he became a part of our family. This shy, deaf senior blossomed into the most lively, joyful little man who appreciated every little thing from a bed, to a treat, to a carefree romp in the yard. And we enjoyed each and every moment of his short time with us. Benny taught us everything about taking joy in the present, and the power of unconditional love. Benny rescued us!
