We got Brooklyn, fka Star, as a foster to help my 8 yo foxhound mix DJ. He was so depressed after losing his fur sibling Daisy. She passed away suddenly while no one was home and DJ stayed with her. It scared me to see him so despondent and I hoped a puppy would help. And thankfully she has brought him back to his playful self. Brooklyn has helped us with our grief and is a bright spot in every day. Her lack of spacial boundaries forces you to smile even when you don’t want to.
