I volunteer at MAMAS. I met Rosie, shelter name Jackie, the day after she was brought in by her owner with a broken back leg. It was love at first sight! Even though we already had three dogs, I "fostered" her, hoping that my husband Greg would love her too. Since it's impossible not to fall in love with her, she officially joined the family a couple of weeks later.
I can't say enough wonderful things about MAMAS, Ruthie Rish, the director, and the incredible mobile army of volunteers of MAMAS ON THE MOVE TRANSPORT. Miracles happen there every day. Rosie is one of those miracles.
