Oliver had been rescued from a hoarding situation and was living at MAMAS when I asked about fostering him. I had just lost my beloved dog Molly a few weeks earlier and missed having a dog in the house, so I picked him up from a rescue transport in Virginia and brought him home to introduce him to the cats. Fortunately, they got along beautifully, and Oliver's best friend is now a former Moscow street cat named Molotov. I decided to adopt instead of fostering within about a day of bringing Oliver home, and he has been living here happily ever since. Note to the calendar organizers: I would be interested in reserving April 28 for Oliver's photo if possible.
