Everyone, meet our first official foster failure, Pistol Pete! Lil' Petey, a LBD (Little Brown Dog) originally called "Pistol" at M.A.M.A.S., came into our lives on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. We had full intention of just fostering him while we helped M.A.M.A.S. find his forever home....but after meeting this little guy we quickly realized he fit with our family perfectly and we couldn't let him go! Less than 24 hours later, we officially adopted him. Pete is known by many names now: Peter Pumpkin Eater, Petesy, Peeta the Hutt, Petey-pot, Petey the Pocket Pittie, Chunkster, and Booger, just to name a few. He is the most cuddle-loving dog I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and he makes every gloomy day bright with his huge pittie smile and always-wagging tail. The photo I chose shows Petey on his Freedom Ride (with his dad accidentally photobombing in the background. :) ) A special thank you to Amy Buist Maxwell and all of the wonderful staff at M.A.M.A.S Mary Ann Morris Animal Society for making this rescue happen!
