Pet's Story or Bio
We rescued Kona (formally Chessie) in May 2013. My boyfriend Justin and I were headed to the beach for Memorial Day weekend but our first stop was picking up our new puppy! I had bought everything in preparation for Kona except her dog tag, this was going to be Justin's job. Once we got to the beach we took Kona down to the edge of the water to let her explore. Justin stopped me and said we have to put her dog tag on. He pulled the tag out of his pocket and it said "will you marry me"! We have now been happily married for almost a year and Kona has been such a huge part of our life and of course our engagement story. She is a gentle and adventurous dog who has brought so much joy and laughter to our lives. She loves being outside and playing in the water. Her favorite thing to do is dig holes. Luckily, she only does this in the sand or snow.
