Pet's Story or Bio
This is Pearl. She is 4 years old and lives in Alexandria, Virginia. She is very intelligent and highly sensitive. Not long after she completely puppy kindergarten, her mom got breast cancer. She was an enormous comfort and helped tremendously while mom went through treatment. Now this fur child is rewarded with so much love and a huge neighborhood of doggy friends. In the summer, she loves to swim we have a hard time keeping her out of the water. In winter, for her...the colder the better. She can't get enough time playing in the snow. Her mom was supposedly a Plot Hound and the litter was advertised as Aussie Pups. But her DNA test came back saying she is a mix of Shetland Sheepdog, Collie, Golden Retriever and Chow. To us ...she is the most beautiful mutt on the planet.
