My dear, sweet Annabelle, who came from M.A.M.A.S., crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 1, 2015. I was heartbroken. In July, I asked Kay, who was Annabelle's foster mom, to tell Ruthie that I wasn't ready yet for another dog, but when she eventually came across one that reminded her of Annabelle to let me know. A few days later up popped a photo of Paige's precious face on my phone. What could I say? Ten days later, on July 18, Paige arrived in Pennsylvania on a transport from M.A.M.A.S. All day long I had anxiously tracked her progress north via photos and messages posted on the transport Facebook page by the dozens of wonderful volunteers who safely and lovingly delivered her to me. I'm so grateful to all the people who brought me this gentle, good-natured beagle. Pretty Paige steals the heart of everyone she meets. I truly believe Annabelle, from the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, orchestrated this match so that I could give Paige a home, and she could rescue me from my grief and sadness. Thank you M.A.M.A.S., Ruthie, Kay and all the transport volunteers for the parts you played in bringing me Perfect Paige!
