Albert is a 5-year old American Stafordshire mix. We adopted him 3 years ago from the Milo Foundation where he had spent 5 months. Previous afforts to get him adopted failed, mostly because Albert, shaking with fear, wasn't even able to leave his kennel. That was until one of the volunteers fostered him and, with the help of her own dog, worked to rehabilitate him. It was thanks to her pictures of Albert on social media that we fell in love with this sweet muffin and adopted him. When we first got him, he was still plagued by anxiety, having nightmares and curling up in corners. But he's come a long way since then. With endless showers of love from us as well as our friends, and with the help of amazing trainers (some of them from Marin Humane), he's now much more relaxed and comfortable. He loves to cuddle, play with his friends, roll in the grass, chew sticks, and do zoomies! It's still a work in progress, but we love him to pieces and we would do anything to make him happy.
