A little about me...
Koda…fka “Coda” “Keesha” and “Ruby”… is a spirited 10 mth female Siberian Husky and former rescue stray from the OC area that was found in January with her sister Shelby the day after the LA fires broke out and taken to the OC Animal Clinic. The two were eventually separated with Shelby finding her to way to the Portland Oregon Humane, Koda found her way up to the Bay Area to MHS and came into my life this past June after I was dropping off some items of my previous Husky. I had seen Koda on the MHS site for available dogs then she was no longer available yet surprised when she reappeared. After learning more about her story and why she was returned twice, I decided to fostered Koda yet I quickly knew in my heart that she and I needed to be together and adopted her a week later giving her that needed chance to develop consistency, stability and to be part of a pack and feel loved. Koda is my third Siberian Husky and is probably the sweetest one I have had. Still full of some puppy energy, Koda loves to play and run laps. Koda has been working hard on her recall training working up to being off leash and has come far in the short month we have been together. Where did you get your pet?
I fostered Koda from the Marin Humane Society and then adopted her one week later.
