A little about me...
Ernie and his biological brother, Bert (not pictured) are 14-months old. They were part of a litter of 3 little kittens (1 baby girl and 2 baby boys) who were abandoned in the backyard of a Good Samaritan’s home when they were around 1-2 weeks old. She took the tiny babies in and posted their photos online with the hope of finding them forever homes. My husband and I had been looking to adopt a kitten, so when we saw their adorable photos we quickly set up a meet and greet. Bert and Ernie’s sister had already been adopted, leaving the two boys for us to choose from. We could immediately see how bonded the boys were, so instead of coming home with 1 kitten we came home with 2. Ernie is an outgoing, adventurous, goofy-silly, ham who loves the camera. While Bert (still not pictured) is an introverted, cautious, deep thinking, lover of quiet cuddles, who’s more than happy to let his brother have all the limelight. The best part of this tale is that now my husband and I are acquainted with the kind young lady who rescued the kittens and the couple who adopted Bert and Ernie’s sister, now named Shadow. We’ve all agreed to work together to care for each other’s kitties should anything happen to one of us. The 3 little kittens, who were abandoned on a cold night, all found forever homes, and with their adorableness and love brought together 5 people.
