Rules

Photos of dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, reptiles, and birds are accepted
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Marshmallow Animal Shelter.
Photos may contain more than one pet
Photos must only contain domestic pets (no people or wildlife)
Photos must be full color, no heavily filtered, edited or altered photos
All online photo entries must be submitted by midnight CST May 1, 2022
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
All photos submitted become the property of Marshmallow Animal Shelter
No mail-in/hand-delivered photo entries allowed.
Employees and Board Members of Marshmallow Animal Shelter are welcome to submit photographs and encouraged to fundraise but are not eligible for prizes.
Submit your pet's photo (must be a dog or cat) and include your name, your pet's name, your e-mail address, and include a short paragraph describing your pet, its characteristics, favorite hobbies, or even a funny story.
Multiple entries are allowed.
Photo must be Kentucky Derby-themed i.e., wearing a bonnet, bowtie, tuxedo, or dress.
1^st place winner must be willing to travel near Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to accept photography session as prize.
