Pet's Story
Many know the Mama Lu story. She was surrendered to Mary’s Dogs over the summer. Initially we thought we were looking at a hospice placement. She had a large mammary tumor, a horrible skin infection, and ears that had been infected for so long they were swollen shut. She’s a whole new dog. She walks up to 2.5 miles each day, snuggles in bed under the covers at night and steals the hearts of anyone who knows her. Her vet has commented that she seems to get younger each time she visits. She must have been the best mama dog, even though nobody took care of her....she’s got the gentlest soul on the planet, and she’s going to live like a queen for the rest of her life.
