Thank you for participating and in turn helping raise money for Mary’s Dogs Rescue and Adoption.
Entries:
- Each entry is a $10 donation.
- Limit of 1 dog per photo entry. People are not allowed in photos. Photo should be recent. Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund. You are welcome to submit more than one dog.
- Only Photos of Dogs will be accepted.
- Your dog does NOT have to be adopted from Mary’s Dogs or live in NH to be eligible to enter the contest but the winners must be willing to travel to NH for their Photography session.
- All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos. We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
- Acceptable picture formats are .jpg, .png, and .gif
- The Submissions Period starts at 6:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
- Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by Sandra McCarthy Photography, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
- Posting more than one photo of the same pet does not increase the chances of winning. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet will not be permitted.
- All photos submitted become the property of Mary’s Dogs and may be used to market the contest.
- In Memoriam photos are welcomed in available date squares of the calendar for a $20 donation but cannot be part of the voting process. Date squares are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
Voting:
- One (1) vote is a $1 donation. A minimum donation is $5 (five votes).
- Winners will be determined by the number of votes received per contestant. Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery and will be open to voting by the general public. The voting period will end at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Votes must be registered by the online system before the deadline ends to be counted for the contest. It is best not to wait until the last 30 minutes of the contest to submit a large number of votes.
- All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
- All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGoPhotoContest.com whose decisions are final and binding.
- Use the social media links within the contest to promote your pet to your friends and family, and encourage them to share on their pages as well! Remember, the more people who know about your entry the more likely you are to win!
Calendar Photo Session:
- The top 12 vote getters will win a professional mini photo session at a pre-determined location in the Concord, NH area in June/July/August 2025 to capture their calendar image.
- All winners will receive one complimentary calendar
- All calendar winners will also receive a special offer for a custom photo session where additional dogs or humans can be included. Participants upgrading will also be able to request a custom date and location.
- If you are unable to commit to a photo session during the offered times or find yourself unable to travel to any of the designated locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.
- The top vote recipient will win the coveted cover photo for the 2026 calendar along with a one of the month’s in the calendar
- The following 11 recipients with the most votes will be eligible to have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
- The photographer, Sandra McCarthy Photography will choose the best image of the pets to be used in the calendar as well as which month that image will appear.
Weekly Mini-Contests:
- The pet receiving the highest number of new votes each week over the course of the 4 week contest will win a mini-contest prize from one of the sponsor businesses.
- Each pet may only win a weekly mini-contest once.
- In the event of a tie, a random draw will be held between the highest vote getters of the week to determine that week's winner.
- In the unlikely event that there are no new votes for that week, a random draw will be held for all eligible pets.
- Certain individual business restrictions and limitations may apply and may vary by business. Sandra McCarthy Photography is not responsible for these restrictions and eligibility requirements as determined by each business.
The Fine Print:
- By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
- In the unfortunate event that a winning pet should pass before their portrait session can take place, their spot will go to the next top vote getter, and a complimentary Reserve-A-Day spot will be given to that pet with a photo of the owner's choice.
- Calendars will be available to the general public starting in November.
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Mary’s Dogs Rescue and Adoption and Sandra McCarthy Photography and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
- Sandra McCarthy Photography has the final say in winning entries.
Notification of Winners
The winning participants will be contacted by Sandra McCarthy Photography or Mary’s Dogs and given instructions on claiming their prizes.
