Some of you may recognize Amina. She entered MASBR in October 2021 after being found as a stray in Houston. When found she had a massive belly and deep wounds on her head. It was determined that she needed exploratory surgery to figure out what was causing the distended belly. During surgery, it was determined that she had a deformed kidney (and it weighed over 4 lbs). Our amazing veterinarian and staff did everything they could for Amina but she passed away a few hours after surgery. While Amina was only in our home for a few weeks, she quickly worked her way into our hearts and we made sure that she knew what it meant to be loved. I can’t think of anything more special than honoring her and having her on our merchandise.
