Maddie was adopted from the Mid Atlantic Scottish Terrier Ed & Rescue Group at 10 months. We had lost our older Scottie & hoped that bringing her into our lives would help heal our hearts, and did she! It took Maddie a bit to trust us-she had been left in a crate to many lonely times in her young life, but she has rewarded us with abundant energy & love!! Ody (on left) was rescued through the Scottish Terrier Club of Greater NY & adopted at 4 months. His owner had surrended the entire litter. He bounded into our lives with the tenacity of a Scottie but the gentle nature of a labrador. Initiially, his chew toys were the wood molding, plaster, wallpaper & our old leather sofa which fortunately were replaced by rawhides & the need to constantly chase the 20 plus squirrels living in our backyard.They are buddies!
