PUKA is a stow-a-way...she jumped into the engine compartment of our car while we were shopping and we did not realize it until the next morning. She was born somewhere near KAHULUI ROSS STORE, where she adopted us. She was less than a month old....her eyes were still blue....We call her "PUKA" because she likes to hide in small places. She has had many adventures in her life...at one point she must have jumped into another vehicle and ended up being driven out of the neighborhood. We could not find her for 9 months...On Mother's Day we got a call from the MAUI HUMANE SOCIETY that PUKA had wandered into a home in PAIA...that is why we think she made it there by car....way too far to roam from PUKALANI where we live. Her ear tatoo lead her back to us thanks to MAUI HUMANE SOCIETY....
