It all started with a lick through the fence at the Maui Humane Society three years ago. Ever since then, Daisy has melted our hearts like ice cream. She absolutely loves celebrating holidays with us. Her absolute favorite is Halloween! If she's not dressing up like a shark or a spider, she's tricking us for treats. But Daisy doesn't like all holidays. Her least favorite are the really scary holidays like New Years and Independence Day. The loud sounds of fireworks spook her more than the most frightening ghouls and goblins! She tries to hide from all the scary noises to the point she jumped our 6 foot wall a week before New Years Eve and almost died after getting hit by a car. So if noises are your thing, please realize keeping them reserved for the actual holiday would make many pets much happier, and there'd be at least one poochie that would GREATLY appreciate it!
