Whenever I visit Maui (at least 2x per year), I visit the Maui Humane Society. In October of 2017, I visited the shelter and spotted Gemma and fell in love with her. I arranged with your organization to transfer her to her new forever home. It was a 10 hour journey, for which she did extremely well. I believe Gemma was a stray, beach kitty, before she was rescued by your organization. She was age 13 at the time of her adoption. She just celebrated her 1st California cat party last month. I have been hosting cat party's for my cats for years -- the average attendance currently is 12 humans! She now lives with her cat sisters, Jennyanydots (age 4), Skyler (age 6), and Freeda (soon to celebrate her party next month - will be 14). Queen Emma Gemma is essentially deaf, but that is not of issue. I adore her!
