Your Pet's Story or Bio
I'm told that Scooter was about five years-old when he arrived at MHS. He was found tied to a dumpster on a rainy day by a real Good Samaritan who got him loose and brought him to MHS for another chance at life. He was soon adopted because it simply took looking into his big beautiful brown eyes for me to be won over by this little 20 pounder. He has been my best buddy ever since that first day. My best friend is taking a well-deserved nap with his best buddy, Teddy. Scooter is now a 19 year-old mix who sleeps more than he used to. But when he is awake he can be found running up and down the stairs at home like a three year-old. I love the way he comes to the door to greet me when I get home and leads me straight to the treat jar for his reward for a job well-done! He loves to cuddle, gives lots of kisses and take his two to three walks a day. What a joy he has been and hopefully will be for some time to come.
